"Inochi" 2008  

This piece captures the natural shapes and intricate micro detail often found in plant cells, but also captures the shapes seen on  the macro level. This piece can be interpreted and viewed with both meanings. "Inochi" means "life" or "nature" in Japanese.

Sculpture is comprised of a 14"x7" torchworked,  fused and slumped glass panel on 18"x9" shaped and oiled wood base.
