Zulu 2! New dimensional murrini in bright fun colors. This blend features neat graphic elements through the core. We've created this blend to call upon the colors and designs often seen in African beadwork or even Native American art. Why is it "Zulu 2"? It's actually a combination of the original "Zulu" and "Happiness Is" blends. We have just a few of these packs left, so get them while you can. These chips are 104 coe compatable, and are on the "larger" side. Average murrini size is 5mm to maximize their design. Offered in packs of 25 or 50.

"Passion Flower" is a gorgeous new 104 coe streaky murrini that features a limited run silver-rich glass that produces fantastic random shades of crimsons, ambers and purples. The streaks enhance the purple/blue shades for a wonderful striated effect similar to our Mojo Raku murrini (this is NOT a Raku glass, however), but is completely different. Super easy to work this one; you just melt it on like any of our other standard color murrini, press in and cool (or leave raised). It will strike in the flame, and will NOT overstrike in the kiln! The examples you see above were on several beads that were garaged at 925F for at least 3 hours, then annealed at 940F for 45 minutes. The colors stay gorgeous!
Working tip; if you experience some bubbling or boiling while melting in the chip, just increase your fuel a little to produce a slighly reducing environment. Bubbles will smooth right out. Pack contains 20 chips, in a variety of 3-6mm sizes.

Silver Blend. This blend is made with several different silver-rich glasses to produce some outstanding effects. Heavily reduced, these will "bloom" with the characteristic milky turquoise and blue colors, as well as producing a metallic sheen. These murrini work best if reduced and struck a couple of times to bring out these lovely colors, but you can experiment to find the best results for your work. Murrini image example shows what each of the three colors look like against a white background, and a black background. The base color you choose to use these murrini on will greatly effect the way they look, but we think that's part of the fun! We hope you enjoy this blend as much as we do.
This blend contains more colors than shown.

Rainbow murrini! A special request for this one (thank you Mr. and Mrs. W!!)....completely different from what we normally do, and YAY this murrini makes us so happy! Not for the faint of heart, this murrini is LOADED with color, infact there are 10 different color stripes on the outside layer. On the inside, the core of orange really shines through with a layer of bright green peeking out there as well. These fun 104 coe murrini are on the larger side with the average size being 5mm to really pack a color punch. 10 chips per baggie. Get them while you can....which might not be for long! Enjoy!
We combine multiple packets of the same murrini ordered into one baggie. If you need your packets in separate baggies, please specify at checkout.

"Mojo Raku" is a super neat streaky murrini that features Raku on the outside, and multiple layers of black, clear and white on the inside. Not your ordinary Raku murrini, this one is a bit different in how it was made so it produces some neat striations. It is a 104 coe. This raku doesn't need to be super heated (in fact we recommended them NOT to be super heated at all) to get the neat color variations. Pack contains 20 chips in a variety of 3-6mm sizes.

"Conchas de Plata".....something completely new...silver murrini! This is a 104 coe murrini with a similar look to "conchas" (aka "conchos"). This murrini is comprised of neutral tones in black, white and grey and once melted in, it will turn silver in the slightest oxidizing flame. Silvering can be enhanced by waving the murrini in and out of the flame and is super easy to work. This murrini is a bit on the "soft" side, meaning it will spread very easily if too hot...although that may be a look you want!
Keep it on the "cool" side or apply as a last element to keep the shape sharp. Experiment!
Pack contains 20 chips in a variety of 3-6mm sizes.
